Thank you for working on your blogs. I enjoy reading your posts. Remember, the more you write; the better writer you will become.

Week 1: Getting to know each other

I enjoyed meeting all of you in today's class. It was fun.

Now, let me just explain what you have to do for your blog again.
1. Go to my first post titled, Create a blog
2. Click on the URL (it's a hard to see at first)
3. Follow the instructions ( they should be in Japanese)
4. Create your blog and choose a title. You don't have to write anything in your blog until after Golden Week.
5. Send the URL of your blog to me at haybill60@gmail.com.

You can write a simple email like this:

Hi Bill,
This is my blog: http://??????????????????????

Create a blog

Welcome to the class. Few students tell me their favourite class is writing. In fact, many don't like their writing class because they think it is difficult and boring. Okay, in this class you will have to produce pieces of writing that won't be so interesting to write. But, this is where you can have fun with writing. You can write about almost anything and include pictures to illustrate your stories.

As part of your class requirements, you have to create a blog and post regular entries. Don't worry too much about gammar or spelling. The idea of this exercise is for you to practice freewriting and enjoy using English.

If you have never created a blog before you can start at this web address http://www.blogger.com/home. The instructions are easy to follow.
